Will a used ohlins damper that fits a 99-02 busa fit my 2006 busa?

yes it should fit ,, they did not change till 2008, is it a piston style , like the factory, going to replace the factory damper ?

i think it should


not really needed ,, if you want it stiffer you can just drain and fill with a heavy oil, when i had my 06 i filled it with a 70-90 wt gear oil , worked great

It will, but you have to modify the mounts a bit, like this on my 06 Busa.

The ohlins damper for a gen1 is top mounted and it fits all years of the gen1.

Yes. It is a top mount piston damper. I plan on taking the stock one off and using an adjustable ohlines. Sounds like the answer is yes, it will fit.
