Oh no! I dropped her!

I got lucky this time. I don't have frame sliders, just swingarm. I was rushing to get off my bike and in one motion tried to put the kick stand down and get off. I missed the kickstand! What made me go down was the grade I parked on and the grass my left foot landed on. About 3 inches. Bam!:banghead: I laid her down. The damage. Cracked puig screen, minor scratches on my fairing on the stickers, and on the case. Most of the bike fell on the grass. The screen got cracked when the mirror folded into it. All in all, I came out ok. Feelings and Ego are devastated though. Lesson from this. Take your time and watch your surroundings!

i did the same, just got my 08 busa 4 days ago brand new. 2nd day i had it, i was warming it up in the driveway which is on a slight incline, i did this all the time with my gixxer 750. As soon as i started the bike in neutral and took the back seat off to put my wallet in, the bike rolled right off the kickstand. Luckily i was right there and caught it going down but couldn't hold the weight of the bike and had to let it slowly drop on the ground. After it was on the ground i somehow managed to get it back upright and on the kickstand. Lucky for me the only damage that was done was a slightly scratched mirror and a tiny chip in the fairing

the stator cover (if that's what it's called) got slightly scratched too, but as long as my fairing didn't get all scratched up i'm happy.

Get the cover off and Polish it your self to a nice polished look...save money
