you do know only about 15% of their total $$ comes from federal funding...right?
I think they'll be alright. And honestly i kind of like a outside the box approach to the way he is cutting spending.
Also, making the argument that its not a major hit to the federal budget is ridiculous. EVERY PENNY COUNTS when you are in the negative.

It's funny how Bush took out Saddamm Hussein but the special ops took out Bin Laden. Hmmmm If he gets blamed for the WHOLE economy on his watch then he should claim credit for this since it happen on his watch.

Obama was in office while the special forces that Bush had in place, took out Bin Laden. All the while Obama promised to bring them all home during his election, and failed to do so, as he even broke his very own promise.
I didn't say anything about blaming Obama for the economy and Bush for Hussein, but all Obama did for Bin Laden was pick up the phone and answer "what, you have him in sight do ya? um..... sure take'm out"

It's about time somebody got around to the dirty work of taking care of Big "The Shnizlle" Bird. He's been a front for a terrorist cell for decades right under our noses under the guise of "educating" our youth!!! Although never verified, his purported headquarters on Sesame Street is only one of his many operational facilities. Other notable centers of operation include Toys R Us, which he infiltrated shortly after taking marshalling his notorious Sesame Street Crew, and, in more recent years, his presence can be found througout the internet at Amazon.com, Ebay.com, etc. His influence is FRIGTENING. We now KNOW that, with the help of his Crew, he has been teaching letters, numbers and good manners to children from all walks of life. All that is required to join the Big Bird Batallion is a TV or a computer with an internet connection.
As you can see, we have a serious threat to our way of life with this "bird". It is up to ALL of us to take action, rise up and quell this fraud, this charlatan, this CORRUPTOR of our youth before it's too late!
Remember, all this is required for evil to succeed is for good men (and birds) to do NOTHING and The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants!
Oh, one more thing:
And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom.

Bah! It's just a presidential rule: It it's good/popular, "I did it!". If it's bad/unpopular, "The guy before/after me did it." Simple and effective, especially with our translucent government.

If I remember a PFC took out Saddam and a Seal team that took out Bin Laden, the fact that the President is highlighting that he gave the order to do it must mean there is a general questioning of his willingness to take out the a-hole. I dislike Obama quite a bit but I am not totally unhappy with with his expansion of the drone strike program, he has made mistakes militarily but being a political pimp from Chicago he has exceeded my expectations. I wish these politicians would stop acting like they were Halo jumping into a compound and taking our enemies out themselves, they are mostly Harvard and Yale metrosexuals that would cower like little kids behind the men that are actually taking the enemy out. Has anyone asked why a order to kill that fkr was required in the first place, I thought that order was givin by GWB and Obama on TV numerous times, hell I think the order was first given on the evening of Sept 11 or the following morning of the 12th 2001..

I think its particularly funny that folks can't draw the relevance of the big bird comment. The guy running the debate was from PBS, perhaps it was a crazy link for Romney to draw but why not cut the funding of PBS. They have plenty of other funds and can no doubt raise the missing money from adding more things for sale. I can totally see "Free Big Bird" shirts being bought by the millions of Obama followers easily making up for any loss in revenue that the gubbment would provide.
Want to balance the budget quickly? Stop giving money away to countries that A probably dont need it anyway B don't like us in the first place and C piss it away. Hell for that matter just say "no one gets any money for 2 years. Period." Taaaadaaaaa no more deficit. We could spend easily have all the govt programs folks want, hell it would be free health care because the dollar would be the most valuable currency in the world. Imagine, no deficit, the dollar is worth 10 or 100x what it is today on the global market....you might actually see gas prices at .10-.20/gal again
