Any of you guys have problems programming remotes on the intellicode? Lost my old remote on the busa and bought a new one -- when programming it flasshes and says it has accepted the remote , but then fails to work from it. All I get is a rapid flashing light from the unit when i mash the button.

Is it the 30$ home Depot 'mote? I had one of those do the same thing to me once~ Make sure the one you picked up is specificly for your system~ I think that was the problem I was having at the time! If it is... try returning it for another.. could just be a defective 'mote~

I think there are two types of Intellicode openers, and you need to get the right one.

Yup checked all that -- remote is a genie -- for series II made after 97. GDO says series II remote only and was made in 2000

update -- genie support says the reciever board is bad
it wont even work with the original remote now
