The NRA didn't need to get into that fight, they knew it would get done without spending members money.
And just for the record, I wasn't a Bush fan either. I think he has brain damage from years of drinking too much.

It isn't about the agenda with Obama, it is how he sneaks around to get things done his way, the slimy Chicago way.
Point 1 the govt has no business in business, let capitalism work...it makes it's own jobs. Start your own insurance company and make the reported millions,
no one is stopping you.
Point 2 EVERYTHING the govt gets it's hands on, is a disaster...see amtrak, U.S.
Post office, etc. they do NOTHING well or efficient.
Anyone who thinks this healthcare bill is a good thing, and will not further
sink the country into economic depair, overly grow and increase the govt
intrusion into our lives, as well controlling EDUCATION (ask me what the heck
that is doing in a health care bill)...you are sadly missing it.
Sorry my "own interest" does not include being a slave to govt and having them
control every aspect of my life.

I can tell you what Obama hasn't done! With 20M Americans jobless, he has done little if anything to get the economy back on it's feet. Maybe it's just me, but without a vibrant economy we can't afford this trillion dollar entitlement! As I heard it said by a democrat during Clinton's campaign "It's the Economy Stupid"!

Making all the promises he made, he has to do everything he can to fulfill them, or he'll just be another politician that made a bunch of promises to get the vote and then forgot about them until next election. People are going to disagree with each other, but he won the vote, he needs to press on trying to do what he said he would. Evidently that's what the majority of people want, whether any of us do or not.
No matter who you are, he has done something you like, and he has also done something you don't. The bottom line is, he seems to be his own man with his own brain, and no puppet master. I think that kind of fortitude is a good thing to have in your leader. He sort of reminds me of Kennedy in that respect.
To me it's nice to have someone as president that isn't a total joke. Bush did not seem the least bit intelligent, I don't care if he had an IQ of 180, he came across as dumb. Watching him make a speech was painful, as an American, it was hard to be proud of that.

Afraid I have to agree on voting him out an finding someone to undo some of the things he has done. One that bothers me is giving immunity to Interpol I don't like that one bit.
