'nother dumb question.....

I found a cool pic of a ride I was on a couple of yrs ago on Lolo pass in Mt.
The dang thing won't post! Error message says I can't use this type of file.

The pic says it is a bmp file......all my other photos have been jpg files.

Is there any way to change it so it can be posted?

I am not too swift when it comes to this stuff..... HELP!

Open it with Paint, click file, save as.......jpeg file, rename it and post away.

Well, it's easy enough to change...chances are the bmp file is HUGE...most are...

Open the pic in question and go to File. Choose "Save As" and see if you can't click the arrow next to the "save as" feature, and choose jpg or jpeg...

Look at attached pic for clarification...

It was actually a fun 2 days...that photo was taken early Sept. '02 @ the summit of Lolo pass ouside Missoula Mt. We rode in the snow for 10 or 15 miles, almost all the way to Missoula.
The next day it was dry and warm! Go figure!
