NOT Happy with New Lid

Order a new helmet From a Vender in the US for a fair price.

ARAI...... Same size as my old one... Same Visor design. Same Shell size

But they have changed the inners....The removable comfort liner.

It is too darn small..... Squeezin my melon. A thinner liner is available for 60 bucks.

To return itwill Cost plenty.

Buy a quality produce and get surprised on something you depended on.

Any Ideas?

Love the helmet otherwise.

sorry about your situation, but on a side note i love the graphics on the lid...

Did you tell the Vendor it wasn't what you expected? I think they'd be able to do something for you....like get you that liner on the cheap.

Even a liner exchange would be nice{cheap to ship}

Still waiting for reply from vender. No answer with the land line.

Is it the liner or just the cheek pads? Did you remove the cheek pads to see it the helmet fits without them?

+1

My XL Shoei RF-1000 was unbearable with the stock cheek pads installed, but the rest of the helmet felt great once I removed them. I called Shoei corporate and they gladly exchanged the pads for a thinner size, free of charge. Two and a half weeks ago, that helmet saved my life. I know you're dealing with Arai and not Shoei, but they're both highly reputable companies, so I'd say it's worth a shot.
