Rhythm I do count you as one of my friends here at the org. but when I was in Japan I was ask to leave many an establishment because I could not speak enough Nighon to order, I was not insulted I merely went out and got a translation book and learned what I could in the short time I was there (4 years is not enough time to learn Japanese at least not for me). When I lived in Ecuador we would get kicked out of taxis because we could not speak enough Spanish so I move the hell back up here LOL. Anyway I think what you are saying is this is going to swing way to the left and divide this country even more then it is. I think that where ever you live here you should be able to some how effectively communicate with the indigenous personnel. Just HMO my friend.
