We (Delta Airlines) have put wifi on a lot of our planes.

its gogo wifi and the service is actually quite nice. Used it from NYC through Chicago and then down to Dallas. Its like $30/month I think if you pick a single airline or $40 for any that support it.... otherwise its something between $10-15 a flight

When we flew back on Lufthansa a few weeks ago they had fliers in the seats announcing Internet service coming soon to their fleet. I think it said something like 5-6 Euros per megabyte ? Not sure ?

Would be a great moneymaker for sure !
