For those that don't follow prostreet, or don't know the details, Ehren Litten, Mark Gargulio, Jason Dunigan, and Justin Shakir achieved those speeds while being over 205lbs as measured in shorts, tshirt, and socks at tech the weekend of the race.

The top 3 have something in common...

Very True. If funds were available, I would have built one for Jordan Haase to ride. The rules are very appealing for liter bikes.

That said, without rules, the busa remains at the top of the food chain for no bar bikes. :D
I was talking to chris Edwards was telling me the less restrictions for 1000's. Cecil breaking records with Ryan on a bike built over the winter. Then I watched chris Moore put Jeremy teasly on the trailer the other week. I knew this was not a phase

Yeah, the liter bikes can be about 6" longer than a Hayabusa, an inch lower, 100+ lbs lighter, and can run M5 methanol.

Last I knew, both Teasley and Schnitz weighed about 135 lbs.,is there a minimum weight limit where those little guys have to add some to the bike or can they get away with being 60-70 lbs. lighter than the bigger guys?

Wouldn't be fair if they got to be light then add weight to the bike as it would be lower. There are wheelbase limits based on rider weight.

Liter turbo bikes have no rider weight differences, only total package weight. Liter turbo bikes can have different wherlbase at different total combo weight.

Rider and bike are weighed at the conclusion of the run.

Big bore bikes have rules that vary based on rider weight. After the last event, all bug Boe turbo bikes have a 675lb combo weight min rather than the previous tiered weight min from 650-700lbs. Wheelbase can vary from (now) a min of 69" to 73". Based on rider weight. Heavier weight riders also get "extras" (partial auto transmissions,M1 fuel) with no weight penalties.
