Wrecked my 02SE and could not find another one so I replaced it with an 03 1K.  I put on an Akra full,BMC race,PC3,Throttlemeister,frame savers,flush mount fr. signals,Extreme Graphics undertail and hugger,Puig double bubble windscreen and went +2 rear sprocket. I am going to replace the orange stickers(R/1000) with chrome next week.  I have 1800 miles on it so it will hit the dyno soon!  The bike is a blast but I will miss the big black Busa!

Maybe it's not a busa but it's the next best thing to one. Looks like it'd be a fun ride. Hope you're havin' fun on it.

The bike is a lot of fun if you like the turns and wheelies!! The 1K is not as comfy, but makes up for it. Not as much torque, but less weight that you can feel. Roll-ons are about even.
 
The 1K is a serious bike...Have several playa's here that have them...I luv to ride them but have to get off soon...It's just to small for me...Hellofa wheelie bike...If there was no Busa even with it's lack of comfort I would have to get one...

Good looking bike. I think thats the nicest color the 1K has.
