I'm not sure about NICKSLICKS setup but most are a little L or T shaped peice that bolts to the stearing neck. The piece comes up and has a flat mounting surface on top to set a camera or radar detector or whatever else you want to mount on it.

Most of the bike parts sites have them.

now you know my secret. one word of advice, some cameras will lose sound from certain frequencies... you may have to use some rubber or other dampening material to achieve best results.
