gonna try this on my 09 busa!! seems like a good idea, any real life feedback or info anyone??

Cal-Sportbike is excited to announce the all new X-TRE power box fromHealTechElectronics, maker of the GIPRO w/ATRE and the Speedo Healer! The X-TRE is designed for Japanese motorcycles originally equipped with anin-dashgear position indicator. It is an advanced Timing Retard Eliminator, whichpreservesthe function of the OEM dash gear indicator. It is achieved by having amicrochipencode/decode the communication link between the ECM and the dashboard inreal time. This feature is unique, as a traditional TRE disables the factory gearindicator.

This module improves partial-throttle response in gears 1-3, and bypassesthe speedlimiter on 1000cc+ bikes. It adds as much as 15 horsepower (e.g. theB-King in 2ndgear), while improving throttle response and acceleration in the lowergears. Theunit automatically turns off the mapping in Neutral for smooth idleoperation. Just like the HealTech GIPRO w/ATRE, the X-TRE comes with user selectablegear maps, offering the same benefit and flexibility. But now, there is norequirement to havean external gear indicator when the bike already has one, although weunderstandmany riders will still want the GIPRO unit for the large bright LEDdisplay. And ofcourse, for bikes without an OEM dash gear indicator, the GIPRO w/ATRE isstill thebest option available today.

The X-TRE unit mounts under the fuel tank, out of sight, and works wellwith (orwithout) other electronic devices like a Power Commander or a SpeedoHealer, etc. This tiny box installs in under 30 minutes on most bikes, connectingthrough OEMplugs (only one wire cut duringinstallation). HealTech bundles high quality gel-sealed quick connects tomakequick, simple, and reliable connections without the need for soldering.

XT-S01 kit fits these models:

GSXR750 (06+)
GSXR1000 (05+)
GSR600 (06+)

Cheap horsepower, indeed.

Sounds great, but unlikely necessary or that valuable for my preferred type of riding.

Cool stuff, though. Thanks for sharing.

wait a sec... "My 09" ??? I wanna see the bike man! dang you guys getting these new machines ahead of the rest of the world... May put my order in now for an 11 or 12..

I dont have a 09 yet obviously, but yes I am getting ready, I am just trying to do research on whats gonna be the best stuff to put on, so I dont have to learn the hard way and try 3 exhaust, 3 air filters, etc before I find the right combo, only want to do it 1 time this time!!!!!

LOL but this does seem like a cool gadget, I doubt it will do 15hp...but even if it does 2 for 100 bucks you cant get 2 hp for 100 bucks any other way!! (i am realistic)

Wanting to have a little more info, does it give 1,N,2,3,4,5,5 or 5,N,5,5,5,5,5 mapping?
