I just spoke with Lori at Ward performance.  If anyone is interested. She told me her next batch of kill switches will be available next week.  The price on the website was an initial offer.  The actual price is $54.95.  But if 40 or more people order she will sell for $44.95.  If you would like one. Please send email to Lore at wardperformance@compuserve.com. And state you are with SuzukiHayabusa.org or hayabusa.org. She accepts credit cards and C.O.D.

It is still hardwired like the others it is just mounted different.  I assume that you hook the bungy to your leather or glove. If you fall off the bike it cuts the motor.

That looks nicer than the one from spencercycles.com...made by MPS, that's the one I have. I looked for the longest time to find one that would fit (1/2") on the bars so I didn't have to move and cut stuff. This one is a neat idea.

Is it Lore or Lori?

Also, I am still looking for one that is EASILY removed when not on the drag strip... I don't want some punk kid pulling my tether out at the gas station, mall, etc. This looks like a very nice clean answer, but can we return the ignition to normal easily?

Their claim about mounting in seconds is misleading. The aluminum part is simple to mount, but splicing into your factory wiring may take a little more time for the uninitiated. For $55, the least they could do is polish the damned thing.

If you splice another plug hidden below your fairing, it could be semi-removeable, but so could the MPS unit.

Myself, I use that little hole to hold my sunglasses while I put my helmet on, so this one kinda screws that up, but I ordered one anyway. After seeing that it doesn't actually "mount in seconds", I wish I didn't. I'll sell it to anyone in the Phoenix area for $40, delivered. PM me if you're interested.

I ordered one, and I agree I wish that it was polished. But I am going to wire it up and install it anyways. I like it plus no more flak if I go to the drag strip again
