New tire on the Z and an angled valve stem

Kawasaki put 1” cheap rubber straight valve stems on the wheels that made it almost impossible to check or add air. Got some nice billet stems to install when I needed tires. The rear wore almost thru down the center on the OEM Dunlop but the new PR2 looks great back there. Also saw an original Z1 in the shop prepped for vintage racing.:firing: Oh, check out the left hand 5” belt drive on this custom SS 113” Hawg. It was so heavy and just sitting on it and moving the front end left to right was a serious chore! Maybe it’s easier when rolling? There was also a 1,000cc Laverda triple in for work. Check out the size of the carbs.

Gotta love an open primary. Gaining nothing at all while increasing the danger. Seems legit....

It’s a nice pant cuff catcher though! The grips were awful, all steel with three serrated edges that hurt my bare hand. Must really grab a glove though.
OTOH the Laverda motor was gorgeous top to bottom. The cam covers? were machined like Ferrari cam covers, really top notch.
