well guys I just got a new red/black 06 busa and i love it. very comfortable for a sportbike. I ended up getting a screaming deal on it, got it for 9900 dollars brand new and i think the msrp is like 11,099 or something, so i think i did fairly well. its not past the break in yet, but it feels quite stout. the first thing i want to do to it is get a different license plate holder, not sure where to go that, but I have seen quite a few with the plate tucked up underneath the tail.

I bought the 06 Burgundy and Black as well in Feb, and personally think it is the classiest color this year.


you asked about the Tag remount; a quick and easy modification is to leave the Tag where it is and use a dremel cutting tool to remove the rest of the rear fender. Basically the only part of the rear fender left is just enough to mount the tag. You can cut the Tag light wires and just tuck them into the rear seat cavity. It is easy to do and makes the rear look better without buying an unertail kit right off. You will no longer have a tag light, but this has not caused any issues with the Police for me.

well that may be more true then you know, lol. i do trade parts too much, not for crack rocks though. i like the name crackhead because i am probably one for getting such a fast bike lol. i love it though. one of the most powerful bikes, but probably the most comfortable too, which is kinda odd lol. i like riding the busa more than the 1200 sportster and its a cruiser!
