Just picked up my new 04 blue/silver 'Busa yesterday. Man, what a machine!

A friend directed me to this site. What a great bunch you all are!

Anyway, the stock rear mud-flap & turn signals have got to go! What are some of the more popular solutions?

Congrats on the bike and welcome to the board. They are a variety of undertails that can be bought or you can go the cheap route and hack off part of the mudflap. Use the search button and you can find a lot of info. Below is the Top gun undertail.

Oh, my newbie! You must learn the ways of the SEARCH button. However, because you are new there are many options for the fender eliminator kit from just cutting the fender to a smaller size and covering it with the license plate to UFO, Extreme Graphics, Mototeck, Rumble Import and Euro undertails. All have somewhat different looks including taillight/turn signal integration. LEDs are or can be incorporated into a lot of them and several other options. It all depends on what you like and how much money you want to spend. I've got a Extreme Graphics TopGun undertail and am adding some LED lights to it. Think it looks pretty good, but the UFO undertail looks good as well. Good luck making your decision. Can't wait to see the pictures of your bike with or without the new tail.

I hesitate to say this, but your bikes have sweet asses!

Hope to get mine looking as good soon.

My next question (I did the search) is about adjustable handlebar mounts. Anyone seen any that would fit the 'Busa?

Take a hacksaw and cut it off, it'll look like this. Best of all it's free.

That looks pretty sweet, Kevin. I've been checking out some of the undertails on eBay, but your solution may be the best for the time being.

I'll tell ya, modding this thing may be more of an obsession for me than my Warrior ever was!

So much to do....

Welcome to the board...Yeah the Dirt Bike jickie was the first thing to come off. I went the cheap route and trimmed it up.

Welcom to Busa heaven....Definitely a place to get the answers you need from the vets that have done it. I know I've heeded much of it myself. As suggested to me by BS..first must do mods....reflectors and stickers(free) and then you can hit the fairings with some screens and the hump mod, both of which are kinda time consuming.

Pipe...BS....I hope you don't mind me sayen but dayum dem is some nices azzez.

Ya know, I always said I would keep my Busa pretty much in stock form. But those Top Gun tail photos above are convincing me otherwise. What do they look like in profile?
