This last weekend I rode with another organization (Midwest Cafe Racer Assoc) at the SPANKING new racetrack at the National Corvette Museum (NCM) Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky (just across the interstate from the Corvette Assembly Plant). It is an hour from my house. The track is newly finished, and this was the inaugural motorcycle track weekend. A lot was going on, there was a SCCA event on the skidpad, and they ran a 5K and 10K on the track after we finished. Here is some video of the last session of Intermediate on Sunday:

Surface is smooth as a babies butt (my tires still look brand new), and it is very technical with some sharp turns, hidden elevation changes and some long sweeping high speed corners, not to mention the 3000ft front straight. LOVED IT and look forward to riding the crap out of it next year!

Not the most bike friendly track I've seen...Hope no one went down and met the tire wall or guard rails. Glad you had fun.

Here's some video from Trey Young, I'm in the first 5 mins or so...

Here is some video from the guy that won Saturday's race, and therefore might be the best example to study. This is not from the weekend we rode it; best I can tell is he did at 2:04, but I saw some answers I had been seeking regarding lines...

2 1/2 minutes

I just can't keep up with him Charlie , and I always have "Charlie's Road Rage Speech" in the back of my head when coming up on traffic . My goal is to stay a little closer to Keith next year.

Here is one where I got lucky and caught up to him while he was videoing one of the ladies in our group. A coach jumped in and Keith and the coach started going at it and left me behind. A red flag ended it.
