New Mustang .... OMG!!!!!

Hmm... A lot of marketing talk, which could easily be made about ANYTHING. My real life experience with Ford was with Ford Escort ZX2. The belt jumped a number of times - when driving in the rain, even though the mechanic saw nothing wrong with the belt. Timing belt broke prematurely.

500 HP for a top of the line car with those historical aspirations is... laughable. Give me at least 800 HP. My docile Charger has 250 HP max, and my bike has 240+ HP max. So, how about it, Ford?

The Eleanor colors really look good. Local dealer just rolled out a solid black GT this past week. It will not stay on the lot. If I had the money it would be in my garage.

"Rustangs" just ain't what they used 2 be......

I think they just put out too many bad underpowered POS 4 far too long that they just don't get the same respect/oooh ahhh factor. I mean honestly I get more excited when I see a done up Fox body than some of that newer junk rolling around

Mustang is the only original pony car to remain in uninterrupted production over five decades of development and revision. An extremely popular American Automobile.

They need 2 go back 2 just making GT's, Cobra's, and Saleens. Stop flooding the streets & every corner with those 6 cylinder "Pony's"....

I've always had good luck with my Ford's and prefer them over a lot of brands.

I really wasn't thrilled about the new design but after seeing them in person they look MUCH better. The rear is a little goofy in pics but really isn't bad in person.

I like the new GT350 but after the last GT500 (663hp) I'm more interested in the big daddy version to play with the Hellcat packing 707hp!

original pony car? is there another car with the name "Pony". the Chevrolet Suburban was the longest running production car and the VW Bettle was around for 60+ years

Its all relative to your taste in cars. I was never a Ford kinda guy in my youth, however, they make plenty of good stuff these days. If I wasn't into vettes ( 91 ZR-1 for 12 years ) I could drive one happily for awhile if it was a loaner from Ford. The ultimate? 04 and 05 Ford GT... who wouldn't want one of those ? Just saw the new Z06 at Pomona last weekend... looked bada$$ to me !

Since this is a flat crank motor I wonder how smooth it is and if Ford solved the vibration issues associated with bigger flat crank V8's?
