I've seen on a few cycle sites that Metzler is coming out or has just come out with the M-3 sportec tires. They still offer the M-1s. Anyone know the difference? They are only a few bucks more but was wondering on application or intended use differences.
You're in luck...There is a test article on the new M3 that was just put up on motorcycledaily.com. They sound great kinda like the M1 but with better wear character for more abuse!
I spoke to Metzler technician yesterday and he said while they can't offically recommend the M-3 yet for Hyabusa applications they will be coming out with a Hyabusa specific M-3 (like the Hyabusa specific M-1) within six months.
