Hey guys just got a new to me 06 Busa with only 7k miles! Absolutely love the bike, have been lurking on here for awhile and love all the info. Only mods so far is just the small air box mod. Thanks again for all the help on here! By the way here she is....

06 was a good year. Mine is approaching 70K with routine maintenance. (Amsoil is good stuff). Welcome!

I'm up here in Borger, about and hour north of Amarillo. As for maintenance the busa if one of the easiest to maintain. When I got the bike it had been in storage for about 5 years. My neighbor won it in a poker game and literally couldn't ride ANY bike let alone this beast. I told him I could sell my KLR 650 for $3500 if he would take it, and the rest is history. I've already changed the tires and all fluids and brakes and am quite impressed on easy it is to work on. Love this forum!
