NEW LOWERING TRIPLE TREE INSTALLED, BUT....

TAZEONE

I just recently replaced my stock upper and lower triple tree with a nice TRAC DYNAMIC chrome lowering Triple Clamp.

I was fortunate enough to have Matt @ Trac Dynamic install it for me..... BUT

MY GRIPS VIBRATE LIKE HELL NOW!

is there anything I can do to take away from the hard vibration? I mean there was none on my stock triple, but now it's starting to mess with my long rides.

even chromed, the new Triple Clamp is much lighter then the stock triple and it lowered my bike 1.5" without any ride difference (other then the vibrating)

DOES ANYONE HAVE A CURE?

Stock ones are mounted on rubber.. is that gone?
damn, can the rubber be put on an aftermarket triple tree?
poop, i'm bout to def. find out!

and as for the steering dampener, has nothing to do with that, but it wasn't removed.

this is severe vibration in the grips...... HAS TO DEFINITELY BE THE RUBBER MOUNT.

damn! hope I can put it back on.

Not sure you can put the rubber back in if you replaced both upper clamps with the one piece unit!!
I just used the billet upper on the stock clamp, and have no vibration at all!!

Boys IMHO the problem is the big weight difference between stock yoke and aftermarket yoke..the weight OVER the stock yoke is appoximately 9lbs...
If you remove it it's normal to feel a lot of vibrations...
