That is stitched on ....
All the armor is removable and CE rated except the back which is foam. Zippered at the bottom for pant connection. Removable sleeveless liner.
The $125 price was from a private seller, not retail. I’m sure it’s a little higher if you bought it from a retailer. It was new with tags still on it so I went for it.

The rear zippers are for ventilation,I wish I had some on the back of my leathers. I ordered a set of Ebay and they put the perforated leather in the front and no vents in the back so once I get moving it inflates like a balloon. I complained about it to them and they ended up making a second suit but only put about a dozen tiny holes in each shoulder area that aren't even big enough to let air out
