New help choosing

So my buddy is finally upgrading to fuel injection (currently owns 1999 zx9) he is going to go look at 2 bikes tomorrow. He does mostly city driving and most of the time no more then an 1hr in the seat. He is also 6'2" and skinny, and almost never rides 2up. So let the bashing begin

they are the worst place to deal with had a buddy buy a bike there talk about a shythole ...... they siliconed over a leak to stop it from leaking and a bunch of other stuff it was a joke

no i was told they are notorious for buying bikes that have been laid down and fixing them up enough to sell and dumping them

yeah that was from someone who used to work there and if your financing through them its like 16% and if you dont finance through them its an additional $1000 or atleast thats what they tried pulling on me when i went there

If I had to chose, the busa (in this case because I wouldn't chose a kawi over Suzuki, just so happens to be a busa lol) But they both could be repaired bikes though.

Sometimes the bandaids places like that put on cars and bikes don't show till a little bit down the road. Then the nightmare begins. If someone here is telling you the place is bad news. Is it really worth the risk? When I worked in a transmission shop, we dealt with a few "Buy here Pay here" places and I wouldn't give any of them as a reference if someone was desperate to get a car. It's risky enough to buy anything used and to do it from a potentially shady place? No thanks!

As far as Suzuki or Kawi? It boils down to whichever one he likes best. Neither company produces garbage rides. I own a Zuk cause it looks better to me then the Kawi. Kawi is to rigid for my taste.

Yes I understand the risk and I will pass it on to him tomorrow before we leave to look at them but that's all I can do I can't make him not buy something if he wants to buy it. I also know that some people that sells there bikes to these places do anything to pass inspection to get it off there hands. I will look through both bikes and if the smallest thing looks out pf place I will tell him no but that's all I can do. So far everyone I know has bought used bikes and there's always something wrong down the road but thats what we have to deal with since we can't afford new.

Yes it does probably one of the best paint schemes I have seen. Hopefully it looks this good or better in person

Neither of those are that good of deals from what I've seen around. Miles are too high, and typically you wouldn't pay for someone elses customization. That Busa should be around 6500, the zx perhaps 6 even. I'm in the process of picking up an '08 with 10000 kms (6k miles) for 7g. I'm in Canada where we typically pay more for stuff than you folks south of us (not a choice or status thing, thats just the way it is). There's been a few mentions of questionable products from these guys, run away and find a better deal.
