Just bought a 2000 busa with a grenaded starter section. But she came with the Corbin seats and backrest along with beetle bags and an exhaust set.

Spoken with the local race shop... 600 to repair the motor and another 1500 for a spare 01 motor which will eventually get a 1397 kit.

Future plans are a merlin F2 sidecar and turbo kit. More immediate plans are to simply add an air ride setup, more lights and a stereo system. Will be touring next yr.

Attached a pic of motor damage and how far I got getting ready to drop the motor yesterday.

If anyone hasn't seen a merlin F2 sidecar well that's it there too.

Have you ever ridden a sidecar rig before? I have a newer Bonneville with a chair hanging off of it, and even with the ~65hp the Triumph wheezes out, the outfit can be quite a handful. I can't imagine what the extra 100+hp of a stock Hayabusa would do, not to mention a big bore and turbo upgrade! Serious life-flashing-before-your-eyes potential there!
