Well, in the process of installing the Gilles Rearsets and have a few questions. First, I realize you can adjust the shift linkage...but what is optimal, adjustment for the shift-rod? I guess a better way to word this might be, I have the rod on, but how far do I want to adjust the nut on each edge of the rod, and when I shift should I have a little slack, or should the rod be very percise/ tight, and as soon as I put pressure on the rod should it be shifting asap?
Secondly, I realize comfort is a nice part off adjustable rearsets, but is there an optimal foot position for best shifting and breaking..or is this completely a comfort issue and no certain angel is desired from foot to ankel?
