New England Flood

I just spent the last 2 days pumping, and sucking up water with a wet/dry vac, and shoveling trenches in my backyard, and finally got most of the water out of my basement. The bad thing is that I got off easy. I hear about all these people that lost so much and I feel lucky to be at a higher elevation. Some friends live closer to the shore and their basements were full of water and their cars were completely under water. The towns on the shore are going to be getting all the drain off for a couple more days.
This storm is a mess!

That really sux, glad to hear you were a little better off, so sad for the others less fortunate. You know the insurance companies around there are gonna be busy for a bit...
