New England cold

For those of you who ride in cold weather as I do, don't forget to be careful. Those cold tires don't grip too well. Take it easy. Watch for the sand. When the snow comes, keep an eye out for ice. Make sure the tires are kept at the correct pressure. Cold weather gear can affect your ability to move around your bike. Watch for fogging of your face shield.

Riding in the cold isn't as comfortable as riding in good weather, but it sure beats taking the car.

Be safe.

And bundle up! Nothing worse than realizing too late that you can't feel your fingers or toes

Connecticut Jan 8th ride out to litchfield/Goshen area. 57 degrees not to shabby.
Just had to go easy. The higher in the hills the more melted snow with water acrossed the road.

You just need to pick your days. Yesterday (1-12-08) was fine. Most of the snow in my area (Southington) is gone. Roads are getting drier.
