was wondering how many months per year do you get to ride?

It varies from year to year, if you are willing to ride in really cold weather (at and bellow freezing) you can sometimes ride 11 months a year, most people only ride like 6-8 months per year some people just have bikes that look good in the garage and ride less than 5x a year

At or below freezing, yikes!! Skuli, you must have pure Brennivin or Reyka running through your veins! People here talk about 'winter storage' when it starts getting down into the 50's.

We use exactly that hahaha

I have only done ice riding on my motocross bike...... but it wouls be cool to try in on a busa
