New body kit for the busa

Here is a pic of what not to do with a perfectly good turbo busa motor.

I am building this to compete at the Bonnaville Salt Falts in the Modified GT H.

The car is a Fiat x19, chopped 4", dropped 2 and windshield tilted back 10".

To break the record in the non blown class I will have to get this pile to 151.

With the stock drag coifficent numbers I will need about 200 hp to get about 175. I hope that with the aero mods I have done I will be close!!!!

I know it is a sin to ruin a good motor by putting it is a Fiat but maybe I will get lucky and get it fast enough without breaking the bank!

At least there will be one Fiat still worth a few $$$
I remember in 1984 the chick down the street had a gold X19, thought she was the cats meow she did..........

Thanks for the replys.

Here is an updated pic.
This week has been like Christmas with all the boxes arriving.
Got the new wheels (Custom Dimond Racing Landspeed), the "moon" wheel covers, fuel system, tires.

Looks like we are going to have to make a new nose for the car. After seeing this video I dont think my idea of loosing front end pressure by venting it through the hood will be enough.....

And they have their motor up front. I can lift the front end of the fiat by myself....gonna be bad news @ 150+!
