Just got a 2005 BMW1200GS with 39000 miles, with all the goodies. Will finally get to do some off-road stuff.

I had the same ride for 8 years, the powered/servo ABS is a dog and BMW abandoned it in 2007. Make sure to service the ABS unit and bleed the system. Check the final drive as well...

It is a great all arounder and with the spokes you can take it into some rocky stuff.

Here is a pick of the two together, I got rid of the GS. I had extended wilbers, 2 brothers full system, Krauser bags...

No. But I kept on top of it by following the servicing of the ABS unit.
I Still have a stock full system with the cat removed and re welded if you want one, lol.

Now you know my handle....
