Congratulations on your Hayabusa. I'm 66 and just purchased a 2000 Hayabusa to add to my Buell, Harley's, and GSXR600. It need work, but it's a fun project. Never too old to get a Hayabusa. Have fun.

Thank you. This is a great forum with a lot of valuable information. I will write a thread with photos. I purchased it from the original with 26.000 miles. He hit a small deer which took out the nose fairing, cracked both side fairings, and tweaked the radiator. Fortunately, he didn't go down. I'm in the process of doing full maintenance.

I finally did it, retirement!

Been trying to sell the shop for a year or so, had 4 prospects and the last one petered out on me a couple of months ago. After 40 years and 4 months, I said "good time it" and signed voluntary termination papers with Kawasaki and decided to close the doors, July 31st was my last day of business...
