New “mini” project - 2000 TJ Wrangler

Lol yes you indeed did call it, although the parts thus far are extremely cost effective. Plus I justified the lights by saying “well I need to see” lol
Not really much left on the list of needs for it replacing soft top with new since old was shot, def need a double din dash so I can put a touch screen with Bluetooth and NAV for when I travel. Couple off road light bars here and there.
Rear bumper with hitch so I can tow my Busa to HITH and prob a little inexpensive lift. Once it’s complete and reliable the duramax will go in for resurrection.
A fancy radio with the little protection a soft top offers and parking in NY? Hope you live in a quiet neighborhood or have a garage.
On another note, is it going to be ready by next weekend so I can take it for a test ride?

Hahaha!! Yea I live on a dead end street on a lake with only 3 houses.
The shop borders a pretty crappy neighborhood but my vehicles are under close surveillance.
It should very well be, if it’s not you will have to settle on test riding the Busa!

Did a little bit of work on the Jeep today...

I had an acquaintance who bought a brand new Wrangler a few years ago and spent a wheelbarrow full of money on mods.

He took it out for it's inaugural tear through the woods and slipped down an embankment right into a tree. Wrote it off on it's first run....sadly, it was blue as well.

Would have made you cry if you saw it after it hit the tree.

A BT04 should fit nicely. Although, so would an LS3 with a Maggie, shot shot of the giggle. 5tons with rear steer on 54S.

Wait, that’s my build. Disregard

If I find I like the 2 door TJ May consider a 4BT/NV4500 swap.
Really would prefer one of the JK 4 doors but who knows.
That would be awesome! I saw a company that made the swap on land cruisers, but was pretty expensive. It looked very clean though and I’ve always love land cruiser. I was looking into swapping a 1UZ into my ‘92 runner, but ended up selling it, instead.
