Need Windscreen advice

Looking for a new windscreen....DB style. Any comments between ZG or Puig? Also, will dark smoke hinder my X50 radar detector? I like the dark smoke color, but dont want to compromise radar. Also, will chrome hinder the radar? Dont wanna drop the cash on a new windscreen to find out my radar wont work with the tint or chrome.

I had the chrome on my R1 withan Escort X50 and saw no difference in the reaction times from it. I run the Airblade

Hard question to answer but I roll with a Clear Puig (race version). Each one seems to have there pro and cons, its a matter of preferrence.

The Powerbronze screen is another option. I've been happy with it. No squeeks or rattles. I had to do some trimming during the install. Don't know about the radar detector through it though.

Radar detector will not matter in terms of screen tint.

The only tint that can slightly degrade performance is chromed or iridium, as they have a bit of metal in the coating.

Radar passes through plastic with no issues though. There are even those that put detectors behind the fairings.

Laser can matter a little of course, with tint, but unless you have a laser jammer, if you are close enough for them to pop on laser you are fucked anyway.

I've got a Zero Grav dark tint and like it a lot. WHen I ran a detector, I didn't see any difference
