Need horn help.

So, I purchased an air horn from Harbor Freight to supplement the stock horn. I get it all put together and then get to the wiring. I thought I knew what I was doing but I can't get the horn button to activate the relay. I tapped the yellow wire leading to the horn but the air horn activates as soon as the key is turned. What am I doing wrong?

I have found that on most bikes, the hoen button completes the ground, it does not complete the positive side. You may have to reverse wire the relay.

On my 03, the orange is always hot, meaning the I need the tap after the switch. Where do I gain access? This is the only time I've seen constant power to a horn, only to ground after the switch. Usually, the switch allows 12V to the horn.

This might help...need to find out if it is a switched ground or positive.

Thanks for the pics. I will try it. I can get it to work in some capacity but the battery power backs up through the cluster and will illuminate the cluster with the key off.
