Need help with wiring!!

AHH i'm wiring up my LED kanjis, almost all done, but I cant seem to figure out why what I think to be the proper connection keeps sparking out on me.

whoever knows a bit about electricity and connections give me a call please and walk me through this if you could please....

I don't know awhole lot about electricity but are you sure you've got the hot and ground right and are you sure you don't have a wire coming through the sheathing touching the frame ???
