Need help with mirrors.

OK, I have determined I want new mirrors and honestly like the older generation GSXR 1000, 750, 600 mirrors.

So here is what I need help with.

What are there differences, if any, in the 600 vs 750 vs 1000 mirrors from like 2001-2005,?

I know the latest gen GSXR1K has turn signals in them but i am not after that. I just like the clean look of the stems on the GSRX 1000,750,600 style bikes. So are the stems the same lenght on all three. I imagine not.


Any help would be great.

Cruise through some of the models you are interested in and compare part numbers.
If they are the same number, they are the same part.

I never measured them when I had them on the bike, but they felt wider than the stock. You can see around your elbows just a wee bit more.

Somebody a while back highly recommended the mirrors from the GSX650F. Parts # 56500-38G21 for the right mirror and 56600-38G21 for the left mirror.

05 has the turn signals in them so I would avoid them.

02-04 should be identical for the GSXR 1000

Funny thing it the GRSR 600, 750 and 1000 all have slightly different part numbers though.



Personally I am looking into the 2008 GSX650F mirrors

Yes however the stems are LONG dude, Lol...

And yes I think the difference is just the stem length, I was looking at MR a few weeks ago and they had an 05 GSXR600 and thyen like an 06 GSXR1K I think and the difference was in the stem lengths.

I'de go with the GSXR1K mirrors if it was me,
