Need help in this decision process(stripped oil drain plug)

Put a Time-cert in mine. You should really take the oil pan off the bike to do this to make sure it goes in straight and it's also easier to work on

Whatever your fix is make sure you use a oil drain plug that is drilled for safety wire. Dennis Kirk sells them pre drilled and magnetic. You will never accidently over torque because the safety wire is what prevents the plug from backing out.
