Went to the track for the first time in years a little rusty (ok very rusty) Bike was way down on MPH! My PCIIIR has the base map and has never been tuned so I think I need to have this done to get the MPH up and the E.T down. If anyone knows of a good tuner in llinois please let me know thanks.

Dont know if hes anygood but there is a tuner in Stl that does pc tuning. i havent done it cause i cant afford it. Let me know if you want me to get teh info...again i dont know if he's any good

Burrell Powersports Bloomington Illinois...Talk to Chad..He has a Dynojet tuning link setup....200 bucks is the going rate..

What were your times/mph? IMO a map isn't gonna help your et much, but it might give you a mph or two......

My first past with butterflies and all 10.65@134.87 60 was 1.951 with these numbers and HP calc my rwhp is around 136! after the first past I was able to calm down and the rest of the day I ran consitent 10.19@135.99 60 was down to 1.68 and no higher than 1.72 the rest of the day. My bike has the following mods
Full Hindle Step pipe, BMC Race filter, 16T,PC3R (base map) lowered, Clutch mod/ wRace springs, Shinko 003 tire,ZVX Chain, so with good rider bike should go 9.40's it has the mods to do it. Also bike running very rich Exhaust is black. stock computer was flashed so I unplugged the PC3R at the track and ran on the stock computer and ran the same damn time a 10.19@135

I'm sure a good map won't hurt, but your bike will never run 9.4's with 60' times in the 1.6/1.7's. Seems to me you gotta get those down in the low 1.5's. Just my .02.

Like I said first time at the track in years. I'll ride thebike better next time. On the street I have never lost a race with this bike at the track I got owned by another Busa. He had the same mods as me but with yosh cams even though it was 132 degrees on the track he managed to pull me down the track at 9.54@145 here the tape on this run
ME Other Busa
R/T .011 -.188
60 1.686 1.656
330 4.460 4.244
1/8 6.716 6.337
MPH 109.55 117.52
1000 8.648 8.152
1/4 10.21
MPH 135.70 9.70 @145.06

I'm getting killed on MPH

1.6 and 1.7 and bad . It won't go 9.40 I know. But its good enough to get 9.70 -80's even 90's !!! that what I wanted the first time out. O well Also may have gotten some bad gas on the way.

I aint knocking ya, best I can do is 1.65's. All I'm saying is with the mods you describe, you're gonna have to leave the line a lot harder to achieve yor goal. The other Busa you lost to is prolly putting 20 or 30hp more than you to the ground, he can afford a softer launch, he'll be able to make it up. Best I've run is 6.60, about 112mph. Yosh full, lowered, strapped, +6, 16t front, no pc. I'm gonna pick up a 43t rear, try and get my 60' down in the mid1.5's.

Send a eMail to quasar... MAP delivered by email!! The guy is good with what he does...

hell I thought If you got the bike outta the hole decent the rest was up to the bike and 9 seconds late you just hit the hooks and its a done deal:cool:

Everyone thinks 60' is it but most get a good 60' (yours not bad) but muff up the 330'

60 1.686 1.656
330 4.460 4.244
1/8 6.716 6.337
okay look at the
60' only a .03 differance very close to even
the 330' you are now .216 almost a 1/4 of a second off
by the 1/8 .379 almost 4/10 of a second

now the motor is helping the 330-1/8 so forget about that but the 330 you should have been right there
you take that .21 off the 330 and you have a 9.9 run
as for MPH it is way down, what map are you running and did you set the TPS on the PC3.
I don'tthink it is soo much the map but (sorry) I don't think you are 100% in the throttle because even your 1/8 mph is off by 2-3.

Pull punches? nope just facts. they help people more

JC ! I dumped the clutch at the light 2500 rpms and i damn near broke the throttle from twisting it. I was all the way in the gas I KNOW THIS MAN!. the map is the base map from PC

I've been looking for a good one as well. There's a guy in Loves Park who will do one for $350, but I'm not sure how good he is. I've been considering calling Ryan at Schnitz Racing for one, I think he's charging $250. Let me know what you decide to do.
