need exhaust help

I picked up a very nice set of scorpion exhaust cans for a awesome price. After installing them, i noticed they said race use only? I am just wondering if these will hurt anything and what is the difference between regular street pipes and race only, They are the chrome ones and its just bolt on canisters. Again, thanks for all the help guys!

Nearly all aftermarket parts that effect noise, air intake, exhaust output, or fuel control will come with a disclaimer that is for race use only. It keeps DEQ out of their business and puts the decision to put on the street strictly in the hands of the consumer.

May be a good idea to be conservative on your throttle while riding through town....or be ready for a hassle for the excessive noise. They usually don't come down too hard around here, but each place is different.
