Need advice on cutting fairing for sliders

I finally got my sliders today and I am going to cut my fairing using a laser. What I need is some advice on cutting, i.e. size and type of hole saw. what to tape, and most important a pic or two of what hole to mount them to. I have a pretty good idea but want to make sure. Also does anyone know of a grommet that will fit around the hole really nice for a good finish look? I am cutting tomorrow afternoon so any and all advice, with pics, is appreciated.

It's almost like the search feature doesn't even exist!

I used the same hole saw to cut a hole in some scrap plastic, then in hot water bend everything in to shape. Then into the frig "note the frost" to make it hold its shape longer to install. It worked well fore me.

Search for a post by Thunderpants. When he did his sliders he had a very good technique for marking where to drill the holes and did a very good write up of it.

I also got my Vortex sliders the other day. I have bought all the supplies to do it with and am going to tackle it myself??

I am nervous to do it but I think having them is for the best.

I will be using the ground down allen wrench approach.
