I was looking at the Zumo 550 and it has mp3 and XM capability. My question is, does the mp3/XM play through a speaker in the GPS itself or will I have to install speakers and/or get bluetooth earsets to go in my helmets? All reviews show that the 550 is awesome, I'm just wondering what else I'd need to outfit the bike with to get it to work.

My step dad has one on his bike and I believe the XM is just a receiver and you will need some sort of speaker system to listen. I could be wrong about this and it could play through the built in speaker but if this is the case you'll still want to find a better solution.
I have the 550 with my autocom. You will need some sort of headphone.
I use the headset that came with my Autocom. I also have a cable that allows me to use my Bose earbuds. Either one will work.
XM with the 550 is a separate add-on. I just leave the XM portion under the hump...works great.
