My Yoshimura came with a silencer #INS-04-K... Any idea how to install?

Are you sure you want to ??? The 77 is fairly tame and has a nice sound to it already w/out the silencer.

The way I understand it, the silencer just slips into the end of the muffler and is held in place by a type of set screw. That screw (or bolt) goes into the hole toward the end of the muffler, on the side facing the rear wheel.

It might have been the way I was rushing to get mine out - but it's dead easy to drop the screw into the pipe.

Not a tradegy, but a pita having to take the can back off - so be careful!!

I'm slightly retarded then. I saw the place, but with the rubber grommet it never crossed my mind to remove it, lol!

I love the sound of it, but desperately need the marble mod for the backfire! I figure in a year when some of the packing burns out I may want to drop it in....plus it actually doesn't look bad with the black billet end cap!
