So Shannon and I brought our bird down to the breeder for her to watch him while we went on vacation. This was on Friday the 12th. On Saturday morning we put the dogs in their bedroom and left for Gulf Port MS. The lady that watched the house and the dogs got to our house around noon and my worries for over 9 days went away.
We hit crazy stupid traffic trying to go around New Orleans and held us up over 2 hours. When we got into town we were directed to a Wal-Mart to get some stuff. I saw more women with mustaches, two fake legs, and a transvestite. We then got to Doc and BusaJules house around 8 pm. I took a shower and we went out to the Hard Rock casino to people watch. The guy that ran from the bouncers made it worth it. He got took out by a 6'5" running back and after his head bounced off the floor and the shoe landed 20 foot from him, my look of disbelief turned into crying. That is how hard we were all laughing. Never run in a casino. Bad I idea. I do apologize for the lack of pictures but due to being tired we forgot to take out the camera.

We left their house in the morning on the 14th and headed up to Blairsville. We got to hang out at the cabin her grandmother owns, help them out with some honey-do's and relax. We unloaded the bike and hung out at the cabin. Here is a picture of the cabin and my baby waiting for the fun.
On Tuesday we decided to take a run up to the Dragon, which was 60 Miles away only to find that there was a rock slide and most all the other roads like the skyway and 41 were shut down. Here is a picture of mama at the CROT.
Her Grandparents took us around the are and we went and ate at Hellen GA, which is a german town where even the police cars say POLIZI or however you spell it. Then we then went to Helton Falls and I was oh so thankful for the 4 wheel drive since the road was dirt, on the side of the cliffs, and only one lane. Once there you had to hike down the cliff and up the path on the other side to see the 2 stages of the falls. Here are some pictures of that.
On our way out the other side, I had to cross two pretty deep creeks and the water was right under the nerf bars. Good times.
