Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302©) .

actually there is.... if you take your bike in for repairs and they abuse the privilage they could lose thier insurance, thier buisness and many other things if caught and/or sue'd.Pft. Yeah, 'legally'.
Is there a law against dealer techs doing wheelies and stoppies on customers' bikes and breaking every other part on the bike trying to fix the original problem?
