ok, McTrull had asked me for some pictures of my video mount
Might not be the prettiest thing but it is functional.
I mounted on using the left mirror bolts, my reason for mounting it is as follows.
1) I really liked the mount that attaches to the gas tank cover, however for me there are two problems
a) I use a tank bag often and I could not use a tank bag with that camera mount
b) I have a ZG DB dark tinted wind screen. I don't think the video would look that great looking through a tinted wind screen
2) I also liked the stem mount camera mount, however the stem mount camera mount would have the following problems.
a) Same as (b) above, tinted windscreen issue
b) I am currently manufacturing my own platform that will hold my IPAQ and my cell phone, this connects to the stem
By mounting it on the fairing using the mirror bracket bolts, it is a stable video, does not interfere with my tank bag, no issues with the windscreen or the stem mount.
