Powdercoated a few things............

1. Left side rear set with shifter pedal attached

1. Right side rear set with brake pedal attached

6. Rear set bolts

2. Front pegs

2. Front peg springs

1. Shifter linkage with gear box knuckle attached

2. Foot brake cylinder bolts

2. Passenger peg brackets

2. Passenger pegs

4. Passenger peg rubber boot bolts

2. Exhaust tips

2. Exhaust tip clamps

1. Brake hand lever

1. Clutch hand lever

1. Gas cap assembly

1. Gas cap key cover

5. Gas cap bolts



I didn’t want to take of the rear brake cylinder off so I just rattle canned it with some BB-Q pit high heat paint, I’m happy with it. Not sure If anybody had coated their gas cap yet but I hated the way it looked for the factory.

Nice job, I would really love to get away from the silver parts on my '08 as well.
 
Use the oem 39143 trim paint great stuff what i used on mine holds up well. even painted my pipes.
 
That looks really good. I had never thought about doing the gas cap.:thumbsup:
 
Looks good.. Now u just need black rear sprocket and the Galfer stealth wave rotor.
 
Sorry to revive an old thread but,

any chance you have pictures of the bike from far , so we can see the change as a whole on the appearance of the bike? Any before and after shots maybe??
