About 3 1/2 months old, Phoenix 4.0 mesh Joe Rocket.
The finish is looking frayed and discolored in spots where it contacts my tank bag.
Main thing is the blue color is turning black.
I've hit it with a hose in the driveway, but didn't help too much. No care instructions on the label.

Anyone have a tip on bringing it back to life?

Much appreciated!
Bill

You can always dye it again. Go to any arts and craft stores. They carry dyes for clothing.

I finally washed my four year old red Joe Rocket Phoenix jacket in the bath tub with a shampoo/conditioner. it had to be washed four times before it came out clean; the water turned totally black the first two washings!

Might as well stick your helmet in there while your at it. Mine was nastier than I thought it would be. Just don't use real hot water. It could seperate some of the glue.

Hey, did that conditioner leave it soft and managable?

I fill up the slop sink, add a small bit of laundry soap, and swish....
Hang to dry in the garage.

Works everytime.
