My Busa is puttin up some crazy numbers....

GC - You will have to ride the S**t out of it now. I re-geared it and am really fighting the wheelies now.

I'll see ya when I get back from Boise.

pipe and pc..

mine only has gen3 and pc and is hittin 146/147 consistent. good air here. sometimes can go from -200 adjusted to 2,000 adjusted in several hours. but mostly its good around 800 to 1,000.

I installed the complete Brock Busa package over the winter and nothing else. The only cover to come off the engine was the clutch cover. And still have the stock original air filter in the bike. Stock wheel base. I now have 4000 miles on here and she is just flyin......
I weigh 190 pounds unsuited and here's my best this year which was on Labor Day.
60' 1.565
330 4.054
1/8 6.11@119.64
1000 7.904
1/4 9.431@147.44

OK, these numbers are descent nuthin spectacular "Right???"
Now, I probably go to the track once a month a play around.
So, Last Friday night I hook up with my cousin Shane, and anyone familiar with the MIROCK dragbike series knows who Shane is..........
So anyways I take the bike down there for him to ride it and after I make a "Shake Down" run on the bike to make sure everyting is working I find out the airshifter CO2 tank bleed down because i left the valve open since Labor Day.....
So Shane says that he wants to ride it and he has no problem footshifting it........
Now Shane is about 140 unsuited, and is a straight beast on a bike..........

1st Pass
60' 1.539
330' 3.999

330' 3.948

Our DA is almost never below 2200... If that even makes sense for such a flat state. Hunidity is just unreal here - even in the winter...

yeah 16-40 really good for my weight. Shift light comes on right before the finish line.......set at 10,600

Buzzard ran a 9.28 @ 146 on his "stocker" last night, marginal traction past the 330' and he's an old guy, 200lbs.
How stock is his stocker?  Busa's run 138-142 with pipe/pc here in FL due to the humidity...
Hell my bike ran faster than that here in Ohio "bonestock."  Not exactly perfect weather conditions either....

Sounds like Flordia sucks for racing.
It does. Was only 84 tonight and the 2nd quickest bike at the track (a 64" ZX10R) had a 40shot running 9.20's @ 150...

That sucks!

You would get laughed off the track in Ohio with those mods and those times. Hell most basic Busa's with Brocks stuff run that all day up here. Without an airshifter or jockey they are in the 9.40-.50's at 146+mph!

Actually we would be as quick/fast as you all up there and you all would be as slow as us down here.

I was running 9.60's foot shifting at 142 at 190lbs on a stocker at 60".

Just hard to get much more since the air is damp. 100% humidity 9 months a year!

That is why i like to hear what people run all over the country since altitude seems to have a less effect overall than humidity.
