I installed the complete Brock Busa package over the winter and nothing else. The only cover to come off the engine was the clutch cover. And still have the stock original air filter in the bike. Stock wheel base. I now have 4000 miles on here and she is just flyin......
I weigh 190 pounds unsuited and here's my best this year which was on Labor Day.
60' 1.565
330 4.054
1/8 6.11@119.64
1000 7.904
1/4 9.431@147.44

OK, these numbers are descent nuthin spectacular "Right???"
Now, I probably go to the track once a month a play around.
So, Last Friday night I hook up with my cousin Shane, and anyone familiar with the MIROCK dragbike series knows who Shane is..........
So anyways I take the bike down there for him to ride it and after I make a "Shake Down" run on the bike to make sure everyting is working I find out the airshifter CO2 tank bleed down because i left the valve open since Labor Day.....
So Shane says that he wants to ride it and he has no problem footshifting it........
Now Shane is about 140 unsuited, and is a straight beast on a bike..........

Actually Busa Red those numbers for your weight are spectacular for a Busa MPH wise.

Obviously you have been racing for a number of years to go 1.56 on a stock wheelbse...

With his weight and an AIRSHIFTER, that is what he should be running.

If he has race gas, it's even more believeable.

nope no race gas.........Busa's put out great numbers on Shell 87.......
Ask Brock.......
And when you are ready to run it....make sure the gas is fresh, because the oxygen starts to seperate from the gas rather quickly....In a day or so and it becomes less potent.

I have:

2002 Busa,
new owner's package with street megaphone...
dyno'd 163 yesterday. better than stock, but not very impressive.

best mph on this bike was 146mph.

putting on 42t rear sprocket, going lower, fresh chain, should run in the 9.20's next time at a well prepped track.

Cache,

Don't even worry about the dyno numbers. Mine pulled 158rwhp STOCK and with all the Brock goodies, it only pulled 164rwhp. It trapped 149mph with Brock on it and a crap clutch on his first pass ever on the bike!
wink.gif
It pulls 145mph with my heavy ass on it and the bad clutch.
